I’ve been married to my wife Amanda since 2013 and we have 4 kids that keep us plenty busy, plus 2 dogs to keep things interesting. I love to read, write, and root for an assortment of Chicago sports teams (despite how terrible they usually are).

I graduated from Olivet Nazarene University in Bourbonnais, IL with a Bachelor’s in Religious Studies before obtaining my MDIV from Western Theological Seminary in Holland, MI. And when I finally finished up with seminary I was ordained by the Presbyterian Church (USA).

Following my time in Holland I spent 6 years pastoring a small congregation through mergers, pandemics, and more in my hometown of Manteno, IL. And in 2023 our family made the move from rural Illinois to Southwest Florida where I now pastor a mid-size PC(USA) congregation in the city of Bradenton.

My first book “Abandon the Orderly House: Good News for Skeptics & Burned Out Believers” was released in 2025—click the Amazon link below to check it out! And to keep up with my life and thoughts check out my social pages as well.
